My points were that covid still kills more people every week than drug overdoses, that patients shouldn't have to risk infection to receive necessary drugs, and continuity of care within a practice/if a doctor has to go on leave. I said that, at minimum, they should allow doctors to prescribe controlled substances based on telemedicine if another doctor in their practice has seen the patient in person.

I've left a comment. (I then had a nightmare that someone replied to me accusing me of poor research ethics, so clearly it's still on my mind.)

Every time I've tried telemedicine, something goes wrong with the video software (my computer's a bit under-powered) and it has devolved into a voice phone call.
