My points were that covid still kills more people every week than drug overdoses, that patients shouldn't have to risk infection to receive necessary drugs, and continuity of care within a practice/if a doctor has to go on leave. I said that, at minimum, they should allow doctors to prescribe controlled substances based on telemedicine if another doctor in their practice has seen the patient in person.
