The DNC is running online training sessions for friend-to-friend organizing:
Friend-to-friend organizing is one of the most effective methods there are for turning out voters. Join us to learn how to get started organizing your friends and family and learn how to use the campaigns organizing app: Vote Joe.
Sign up for the training here

You can read more about how you can use the app, especialy for virtual canvassing, and where to download it in this Reddit post: https://www.reddit.com/r/JoeBiden/comments/i4rhpw/virtual_canvassing_how_to_use_the_vote_joe_app_to/

Finally, there's a need for more poll workers as many people who have staffed polling places in the past aren't doing so this year because they're in high-risk categories for Covid-19. Recruiting new people who are younger and healthier will help keep as many polling places as possible open and minimise the length of lines. So the bulk of the US primaries are upon us!

My Time to Vote is a great resource across the states--- if you get their app (I couldn't find a link on the website, but if you search for it on your device's app store you can probably find it) it's a quick way to find your local election dates.

Vote411, by the League of Women Voters, is another "one-stop shop" for voter information.

Common Cause is still another resource--- if I recall correctly, in addition to proving information to voters, they also offer opportunities to volunteer as a non-partisan poll monitor.

ETA: Courtesy of [personal profile] philomytha there's also Vote From Abroad, which is a non-partisan org helping US citizens living/traveling abroad to vote, and Democrats Abroad, which is for Democrats living aboard, including help voting in the Global Primary. (Also, at least one person has commented with state-specific information--- thanks, [personal profile] redbird !--- so you may want to keep checking comments here.)

Finally, here's the roundup I did back in 2018 of state-by-state official voting websites; I haven't updated it and would not be shocked if some of the links are dated, but it's a place to start: Link(spam): US Voter information.

In honor of National Voter Registration Day in the US, here is a lightly annotated list of links to voter information/registration sites and related information for all 50 states and the District of Columbia, with an emphasis on getting information about statewide referenda/ballot initiatives/other laws and similar that might be on a given state's ballot. (Edited 10/8/18 with a missed text link!)

If your friends are wondering what they can do to help the Democrats in the election this year, there's a new website that can help.

Crush The Midterms is a simple tool that asks you a few questions (whether or not you're registered, what kinds of issues interest you, your zip code) and crafts a plan of action and a personal list of important dates -- like the voting registration deadline in your area.

You can transfer that list directly to an electronic calendar. (The list doesn't mention 'check your registration right before the deadline and make sure it's ok,' but that should absolutely be on everyone's to-do list!)

....

North Carolina is one of the worst states for voter suppression tactics that target registered voters. This year, there's an app available that will monitor your registration for any changes. You can find out how it works here at NC GoVote.

I'm hoping more apps like it appear for other states!

The Notifica app is designed for use by immigrants--they can immediately notify family members, friends, attorneys, etc. if they are detained or other immigration action is initiated against them:
