The typo "Muslin Ban" makes me think of Sense and Sensibility or maybe North ANGER Abbey: maybe the muslin will wash, but THE BAN WON'T WASH.

Thanks for these. I swear I read through the post a couple times to check it and I still missed the typo. But I like you're interpretation.

A note from a friend in Seattle -- public transit to the airport march was closed last night and not stopping nearby. So people should know that public transit may or may not be a reliable way of getting to protests today.

Hey, 300 people with picket signs and Instagram are a flash mob wherever they are, whether or not they got as far as the airport.

There is Nobody in Charge and Telling Us How to Protest--which I think is a good thing, actually. Protests take the form, and have the timing and location, that appeals to a group of people who can gather up others to join them.
