Check In 1 November
Nov. 1st, 2020 10:17 amA last check-in post before election day!
What are your plans for Tuesday? I can see from our I Voted! post that many of you have already voted by mail or through in-person early voting. Will you be working on GOTV efforts or at the polls or on a campaign? Or just hunkering down (with copious amounts of alcohol?) or having an early night?
We've had lots of good posts in the comm recently but please continue to let us know about anything new.
#Wakanda The Vote From Movement For Black Lives
Ballot-curing And A Guide To Useful Donations From The Pinboard Guy
If You Change Your Mind About Voting By Mail
Action: Organizing To Protect The Results Of The 2020 Election
What To Do If You Requested An Absentee Ballot And It Didn't Turn Up
NILC Immigrant Justice Fund Text-banking On Election Eve
Signal Boost!
SeeSay2020 (A way to report voting irregularities)
Don't forget to check out the previous couple of check-in posts — including the comments — because they had some good donation, action and GOTV resources.
We also have the Election Resources Round Up we compiled at the start of the year, where I'd particularly highlight 866-OUR-VOTE, which offers on the day support to people having trouble voting.
I'll put up a post on Tuesday for people to talk about the events of the day and the results of both main event and downballot races and propositions. Meanwhile, here's this week's poll.

Signed up for the local Protect the Vote protest, if such is necessary.
I have a clothing and food plan, for whether I'm out in the weather or not. (I expect this week to be... emotionally daunting, and I don't want to have to worry about those.)
