Obama town hall on curbing police violence

I just listened to part of President Obama's town hall, and one very specific request he made was that, because law enforcement is largely controlled at the local level, that mayors should sign this pledge: https://www.obama.org/mayor-pledge/

So one very specific request, which I'm about to make to MY mayor, is to ask him or her to sign the pledge to enact--and enforce!--reasonable use-of-force policies for the police.
