I hope you're all keeping safe and well (and getting any financial and other assistance you need) as we continue with measures to contain and counteract the pandemic. A big thank you to all of those who are still working, especially everyone providing care or keeping the basics of life running during this crisis

Please use the comments to share any sources of support you know about for people who are sick, self-isolating or may otherwise need a helping hand (from a safe social distance, of course).

NEW ACTIONS

We posted about [twitter.com profile] resistbot making it easy to ask your representatives to #SavethePostOffice.

[twitter.com profile] resistbot also has specific campaigns for contacting your representatives about bills to provide #EmergencyUBI and No-excuse absentee voting. (There are campaigns for actions in specific states, too.)

I also called people on behalf of our synagogue to check on them and see if they needed anything we could help with (even just additional calls, or help getting Zoom with the grandkids sorted). It felt really good in terms of community and taking an action to help others through this. Recommended if you can deal with the phone and have a religious, social, or volunteer org that's checking on people (Juntos had asked awhile back but I don't have enough Spanish).
