Anybody interested in running for office?
Hi there,
A year ago, the day right after the Women's March, we trained 500 women on how to run for office.
We're celebrating the anniversary of that incredible day with our first in a series of free online trainings that will teach the basic skills of running for office — whether you want to run yourself or help a woman run.
For the first training in the series — Is Running Right for Me? — we'll give you tips on how to make the decision to run.
Ready to get started? Sign up to attend Is Running Right for Me? on Monday, January 22nd
ONLINE TRAINING:
Run to Win: Is Running Right for Me?
WHAT WE'LL COVER:
Myths about who should run, the must-haves for every candidate, finding the right race
WHEN:
Monday, January 22nd, 2018
7:00 p.m. — 8:30 p.m. ET
We're excited to be partnering with Emerge America, Higher Heights for America, Asian American Action Fund, Run for Something, and The New American Leaders Project to give this training.
This training is open to anyone. You don't need to be a declared candidate or even actively planning to run to join. You just have to have an interest in learning the basics of being a candidate for state and local office.

Date: 2018-01-13 11:40 pm (UTC)I wish there were a ResisTV channel where *everything* was archived, but even without one, it's pretty common for webcasts to be archived at the host organization's site.
