I had problems with the link at first - here's the version with the UTM codes removed:

It's a very nice document, with a handful of succinct statements with brief clarifications for each. I especially liked the last one: "The idea that we need Confederate monuments to remember our history is only relevant if we recognize it for what it is - a history of subjugation and slavery."

Sorry! Thanks for providing a better link. The problem is that PDFs don't have easily accessible URLs, and forwarding forms with auto-completes reveals personal data.

Speaking of Confederate monuments (and unfindable URLs) I'm on the mailing list for ACLU's PeoplePower (info@peoplepower.org) so I got an RSVP for the livestream this Thursday (5:30 pm PT, 8:30 pm ET)of "When Heritage = Hate: The Truth About the Confederacy in America." It's a one-hour talk by Jeffery Robinson (ACLU) "to discuss the dark history of the Confederacy and the monuments built in public spaces around the country. We'll dive into what these symbols really mean and how they've been used by politicians to rewrite history and incite racial violence."

After 15 minutes of Googling I couldn't find a usable URL, so I'm kicking the can down the road.

The DSA sure knows how to run a meeting--they start on time! they get through the agenda! (although, has ANYONE in the history of ever not approved the minutes of the last meeting?) people get to talk, with an order prioritizing people who haven't spoken before!
