thisfinecrewIt's estimated that hundreds of thousands of rape kits sit untested in police department and crime lab storage facilities across the country. This means that DNA evidence that could be used to solve and prevent crimes isn't being made available.
End the Backlog is a campaign to get all states to put in place the necessary legislation and policies to eliminate the backlog of untested kits and ensure kits are tested in a timely fashion going forwards.
