Help Save Indiana's Wetlands

sea_changedThe Indiana State Senate has recently introduced SB389, a bill to strip protections from a third of Indiana's wetlands by repealing the Isolated Wetlands Program. If you live in Indiana, please call your state senator as soon as possible to ask them to vote against SB389 and protect Indiana's wetlands.
You can find your state senator here. Here is a tumblr post with more info, including links to information about Indiana's wetlands and a script you can use when you call. Here is an article from the Indianapolis Star (also linked to in the tumblr post) about the bill. For those of us not in Indiana, there is a Change.org petition you can sign, though of course if you are in Indiana calling your state senator will be much more effective. (If you're out of state, also consider reblogging the above-linked tumblr post to get word out.)
