Happy Independence Day, everyone! I hope you're able to celebrate it with as many or as few fireworks as you like, and that everyone suffering from extreme heat, the effects of wildfires and other weather/climate issues is able to stay safe.

I can finally answer this poll! I took part in a protest for the first time in almost two years.

I just answered the poll. Later today I'm going to my parents' place for a cookout, and then coming back here afterwards for fireworks and s'mores with my building mates. I'm quite proud to be an American, especially under our current president and vice president! I'm also proud in a sense that we can choose which political party with which to align ourselves. Sadly, 2 neighbors of mine have divided families in this respect. But enough about that for now. I'm off to do other things, including get ready for my parents.
