A huge big thank you to the person who bought paid time for thisfinecrew ! I'm a little verklempt, honsetly. That this community means enough to go to that little bit of extra time and money to support in turn means a lot.

It's a hard time right now. Personally, I'm struggling with this shutdown. I've had to stop reading the news so I can sleep. But this little community helps. Seeing how folks stepped up to support the midterms, support groups targeted by the regime, support each other, share news both of what's going on and of small victories has been incredible. You are incredible. Both those who post and who lurk and everything in between. You care and you're here and we are not alone in this fight, whether it's with big contributions or small. All of them matter. Thank you for being here with us.

Me too, and I used to REPORT the news. Now it just makes me furious and horrified. My mental health cannot handle it.
