It's been a hell of a week. News on the Impeachment trial is grim, and makes it all the more imperative to make sure Trump is a one-term president in 2020. Meanwhile, to all our friends in the UK, we're with you as Brexit takes effect.

Take care of each other out there.

It's been a rough week with elections in the UK where a Tory majority was elected. In the US, the House Judiciary Committee has leveled two articles of Impeachment against Trump. We'll see where it goes. Also, for those following along at home, the next budget deadline is Friday Dec 20 for keeping the government open.

In comm news, as you've probably seen [personal profile] tanaqui  is going to start up a sister comm for UK actions in the wake of the election and is looking for co-mods and name ideas.

This week, impeachment efforts continue to move forward. Trump's policy on Syria is incoherent and inconsistent but consistently genocidal. And we might finally find out what's in those tax returns.

Do let us know what you've been up to. It's always good to hear from you!

National rally on October 13: https://www.october13.org/
The future of our democracy is at stake. On October 13, we will flood the streets nationwide to demand our elected representatives #ImpeachNow.
Indivisible is also leading a wider action, linked to the October recess. It's almost over, but there's still time for some last minute-action, and it will undoubtedly have more phases if you're not already on their mailing list: https://www.impeachnow.org/
Activists nationwide are joining together to thank House Democrats who have called for Impeachment and make a unified demand of our senators and representatives during the October recess (September 30-October 15)
