Action: Comment on plans to weaken net neutrality

John Oliver has created an easy way to get to the page where you can file a comment about the FCC's plans, under Trump appointee Ajit Pai. to weaken net neutrality:

The FCC will vote on the proposal on May 18. If passed, it will then go through a further period of public feedback.

I have submitted something, using the "quick filing" page; I don't know why it looked like it hadn't gone through, but I just got an email confirmation. I included that I agree with Mr. Pai that the Internet is not broken (that's from one of those articles), but that removing net neutrality would break it.

Thanks for reporting back on your experience.

(My guess is that the FCC website is rubbish and their IT people are incompetent -- there were also a lot of articles with the FCC bleating about being "DDoSed" after the segment aired on John Oliver's show. Because apparently they can't tell the difference between an actual DDoS attack and a spike in legitimate traffic that they're not set up to handle...)
