I suspect you didn't intentionally have two "worked for a campaign" options. :)

Eh, it happens. :) And yeah, not being able to edit polls later is silly.

I assume that "sent a postcard/letter/email/fax" is intended for "contacted an elected official" rather than "participated in a GOTV postcarding campaign"? Dunno if you wanna combine GOTV postcarding with "did phone-banking or text-banking" or make it a separate ticky box, but GOTV postcarding has been my big civic engagement activity (in addition to calling/emailing my electeds) and I would support it being included in future polls.

> My tentative thought is to change the "sent a postcard etc" to "contacted an elected official or government agency (by postcard, email, etc.)"

I like that idea. It makes it much clearer what the item is getting at. (Your inclusion of "or government agency" also allows space for things like "submitted written public comment;" nice.)

Since there are already "called [a government official]" items, maybe "contacted an elected official or government agency in writing (by postcard, email, etc.)"

> and then either add GOTV stuff including postcarding to "worked for a campaign," or make a separate entry for get-out-the-vote work and also keep "worked for a campaign" as an answer.

I like the idea of keeping GOTV work and "worked for a campaign" as separate. GOTV work is often for a specific candidate, but e.g. Center for Common Ground/Reclaim Our Vote is currently doing postcarding for the Virginia State Primary -- so definitely not with a specific candidate's campaign.

In addition to stuff on the list, I've also been participating in the boycott of Target and slowly trying to divest from Amazon, What's App and other stuff owned by Meta, etc. Boycotts are working.

I also called other Senators. I thanked Kristen Gillibrand for an interview she did supporting Cory Booker which also explained the reconciliation bill, and I thanked Cory Booker for his objection speech -- all 25 hours of it. Constituent support is important, but sometimes people need their flowers from non-constituents, too.
