I'm wondering if any of you have ever heard of someone with a mental illness being forced to go spend the holidays with a family member who doesn't even believe in mental illness? In fact, what if that family member was a Trump supporter? I'm not giving out any details, but this exact scenario seems to be playing out here.

This is absolutely a thing that happens, along with many other variants of what the family members is being vile about.

There are a lot of resources on the internet about how to handle this situation if you can't avoid it, so I'm going to make a post asking people for links.
