It's been quiet in the comm this week, but the focus is still very much on refugee and immigrant detentions. We have lots of ongoing actions -- see the links below.

I went to a protest in another country, no less!

I'm new to this particular comm, but not activism in general.

- Followed links between different Jewish activism groups who have been emailing me and signed up for notes related to the #NeverAgain phone calls/actions. The calls themselves are too late at night for my brain and I'd likely fall asleep on the calls. But the notes will be winging their way to my email.

- I do a ton of signal boosting, and also start Difficult Conversations in my online spaces so that others don't have to step forward and do them.

- I have a friend who follows these guys' weekly checklist and does all the actions. https://americansofconscience.com/ Friend and I have an understanding that if there is an action that should be on or would fit on this weekly checklist I pass it to her and she adds it to her own to-do. This is because I'm sometimes following calls for phone calls that she's not.

- I joined the online group for Black and Pink (prison abolition + support for LGBT prisoners) in my city/state.

I'm housebound and do a lot of online signal boosting and such. I can't be part of another auction this year but I was part of FTH and raised $16 from two donors.

Also participating in local mutual aid for my community.
