Good news overnight: the government has (temporarily at least) avoided a shut down, which must be a great relief to all of you who either work for the parts that would have been affected or rely on services from them.

The last week has also seen Trump losing in the rulings made so far in the civil case into his business dealings in New York. (And the judge sounds very unimpressed with the "legal arguments" his team have been making; may it continue!)

We've only had one post in the comm since the last check in, about Covid boosters. The deadline for comments on that has now closed, but do please share any other actions relating to making boosters more widely available or for other mitigations (for Covid, flu or anything else where cases and transmission can be minimized).

A quick reminder that we have an Election Resources Roundup if you're looking to work on GOTV or campaign activities. (We compiled it a while ago, so let us know if it needs updating.)

As always, everyone is free to make posts about any issues and actions they think the comm should know about. You can also drop some information into a comment to our sticky post if you'd like the mods to do it.

If you're looking for information on anything else, you can use our tags to check for any ongoing actions or resources relevant to the issues you care about. (And a quick shout out to [personal profile] redbird for all the tagging work that keeps the comm running smoothly.)

Finally, here's our poll (behind the cut) for you to tell us what you've been doing in the last few weeks. And do let us know in comments what you plan to do next.
