This week saw yet another effort to ensure marginalised people and communities are further marginalised and under-served, with proposals for the census to include a question on citizenship. Civil rights groups believe the move could sabotage the entire census, so it's time to contact your reps again!

In the comm, we've had our last check-in for [personal profile] elucidate_this's great idea for Giving up on Giving Up for Lent. Thanks to [personal profile] nanila for making the posts and for the members who've inspired us by sharing what they're doing. And just because Lent is now over doesn't mean you have to stop trying to find small ways to make a difference!
