United We Dream has a terrific graphic on this which can't be linked or printed. To sum up:
* Existing permits and work authorizations are valid until their expiration date, which can be found on the I-795 and Employment Authorization Documentation forms.
* No new applications will be issued (unless of course Congress passes legislation to extend DACA)
* Permits expiring 9/5/17 to 3/5/18 can be renewed for a further two years, but all permits in this category must be renewed BY OCTOBER 5 OF THIS YEAR, so an important advocacy objective is letting Dreamers know about this and helping them file their applications. It is not beyond the realm of possibility that Dreamers will try to renew and then be detained and even deported, so the first wave of applicants should probably bring lawyers
* "Advance parole" is permission to leave and re-enter the United States--Dreamers can no longer qualify, so they should not leave the United States because they won't be allowed back in.
