I'm composing my thoughts for what I want to say to my reps when I call them again this coming week. Does anybody feel like now that they're paying attention, they have more things they want to point out to their reps than they know what to do with? I'm having to prioritize. I might also write my house representative a letter just to get out all the stuff I want to say. He's a Republican, so I doubt he'll listen, but that makes me all the more determined to keep bothering him.
I'm also trying to prioritize my online reading time. There are articles and analyses that can arm me with knowledge, and then there are those that will probably just uselessly enrage me. I'm already pissed off and afraid; what I need is information.
And finally, I would like to get more involved at a local level, but outside of my local Dems, I have had trouble figuring out how to get started. That'd be a great topic actually, if a comm mod or someone else wanted to tackle it: ways to get involved with your local activist groups, and how to even find them.
You guys are running a great comm. It's been a huge help to me. *thumbs up*
