The second I found out, I called district/DC offices and demanded someone take down my thoughts. I ended up hanging up on the staffer in the district office because they kept trying to say I needed to look online for his statement instead of writing down my message. And then I cried for a while in the ear of the DC staffer (I hate being an angry crier, but whatever works, I guess).
I'm hoping to follow up tomorrow or Monday to see if he has a town hall meeting during the recess, and writing a letter to my local paper if not. (I say "hoping" because I have pretty terrible social/phone anxiety; I depend on Resistbot a lot, but this is something I need to talk to people about. Maybe I can get someone else to call if I can't manage, though.)
