I had been intentionally calling after hours to ensure I speak to a voicemail rather than a real person [and had been assuming DC office was best], but this has lowered my bar for how prepared I feel I have to be, so I bravely called local offices during work hours this afternoon and got a real person (3 different calls, 2 different staffers) at my Rep's local office though still voicemail at my Senators' local offices.
