How's everybody doing?
As a great post this month on grassroots organizing reminded me, we're heading into another election cycle — and keeping the Senate as well as the Presidency is going to be vital. So is winning seats at State level to help stem the tide of bad legislation coming out of State legislatures. So if you come across good resources over the next few months for GOTV, ways to promote and support progressive candidates at all levels, or other means of loosening Republican control, please do consider making a post to share them with the community. (Of course, you're very welcome to make posts about other topics as well!)
Here are the posts in the comm since the last check in that are still active.
Structural Racism Explainer
Turning out Democrats and allied voters
Thank you to everyone who's posted this month. As always, everyone is free to make posts about any issues and actions they think the comm should know about. You can also drop some information into a comment to our sticky post if you'd like the mods to do it.
If you're looking for information on anything else, you can use our tags to check for any ongoing actions or resources relevant to the issues you care about. (And a quick shout out to
redbird for all the tagging work that keeps the comm running smoothly.)
Finally, here's our poll (behind the cut) for you to tell us what you've been doing in the last few weeks. And do let us know in comments what you plan to do next.
