Voting is one thing I will not be doing on Election Day this year, and I'm looking forward to it. I voted by mail at the beginning of the month, with the assistance of my mother. I trust her not only because she's my mother, but because all my immediate family and a lot of extended family has voted the same for as long as I can remember. I didn't particularly care for voting for the longest time, but I have since gotten a bit into politics and it has honestly been good. Not that I like our current president because I don't, but it feels great being an informed citizen. Thanks to increased screen reader access on the part of developers and tech companies, I can now read up on this stuff. Whether I actually have the time to do said reading might be another story.
