Those of you who have conservative or conservative-leaning relatives, co-workers, etc. who follow you on Facebook or elsewhere, that you're still in touch with, there's something you can do right now. (If you feel up to it.)

Smart, tactical advice on how to push back against the fraud narrative in a gentle but firm way that might reach some people. If you've got the audience (and if you have conservative followers on Facebook, that is an audience) and the spoons, check it out.

Ballot Curing in California

I think they may need volunteers more than the Presidential race at the moment.

Right now there are 3 races (Christy Smith CA 25, Harley Rouda CA 48, Gil Cisneros CA 39) where the count is less than 2 % and there is the TJ Cox race (CA 21) where ballot c & c decided the election in 2018 and is close again.

I just sent a couple of thousand texts inviting people to participate in pro-democracy count-the-votes rallies tomorrow, in cities around the US. The one in Boston is in Copley Square at 11 a.m., and here's a link to find one in your area.

Those went out mostly around noon EST; a couple of hours later it seems as though the rallies may not be necessary

To kick it off, we are starting a massive auction/donation drive to benefit Fair Fight, Black Voters Matter, and the New Georgia Project—organizations that were crucial to Georgia’s success this last election.

For those who are romance adjacent—most notably our close cousins SFF and YA—we have a very big tent and we welcome anyone!

Also bless them, they've got an international donation section which feeds donations to the charitable sibling-organizations of relevant groups (which can legally accept donations from non-US citizens).

Given the astonishing work that's been done in Georgia by founder of Fair Fight Stacey Abrams, a.k.a. romance novelist Selena Montgomery, whose SF/F geek credentials are also beyond question, this seems like a particularly appropriate way to pay tribute and support the fight.
