Georgia just dropped 591,000 people off their voter rolls.
This is supposedly their usual roll-cleaning, and it's only supposed to exclude so-called inactive voters.
Right now, I don't think it's a good idea to trust that. Especially since the spokeswoman from the SoS office seems to think this is a fraud prevention measure. (“By regularly updating our rolls, we prevent fraud and ensure that all votes are cast by eligible Georgia voters.”)
If you (or someone you know) live in Georgia, you can go to the Secretary of State's website to check your registration. (You have until October 9th to register for the midterms this year!)
