From the raid on Michael Cohen's office and the horrific gas attack in Syria, to Comey's book and the chaotic and incompetent response to events in Syria -- by way of possibly declaring war via Twitter -- it's been another barely believable week….
There's not been much new stuff in the comm this week, but there are a lot of ongoing actions if you're looking for something to work on. Also, a reminder, that we have a post for Planning Ahead in Case of Mueller Firing.
New Actions
Racial Justice Toolkit (see comments for a shorter link)
Action: SNAP benefits -- the comment period is closed, but you may still want to contact your reps about this to help move it up their agendas.
Information
A new voting rights surge?
Ongoing Actions
Call your Reps about the Census
Protect the Americans with Disabilities Act -- Call your senators
Planning Ahead in Case of Mueller Firing
Information and organizing to end police violence
Make a difference in the 2018 Midterms - organization organizing for all levels of elections
District funds for the mid-terms
Support progressive Congressional candidates in competitive rural districts
Information on State Primary Dates and list of pro-NRA Republicans who are vulnerable
( Housekeeping )
So, what have you all been up to in the last week or are planning to get involved in next week?
