Yup. I'm a Guardian reader, and ruefully acknowledge that I fit most of the stereotypes about Guardian readers, and I can live with that. *g*
But as context for people not familiar with them: they're solidly liberal/left-wing, in no way "extreme" or marginal, they do very very good investigative reporting, and I can't imagine their journalists being physically aggressive to anyone (quite aside from the nature of Gianforte's defense, which seems to be that Jacobs flung himself to the ground pulling Gianforte on top of him, presumably before assaulting Gianforte's fists with his glasses).
