Town Hall Project

https://actionnetwork.org/forms/stay-up-to-date-on-our-work

You can sign up for notifications on town halls. One thing to talk about during town halls in the upcoming recess is where the Congressperson stands on budget issues--they may not have thought it through, and just want to be able to say they're "efficient" or "cut taxes" but we can let them know that they should maintain, and preferably increase, funding for vital programs, and they should cut back on militarized policing and military boondoggles that even the Pentagon doesn't want.

On the immigration front, the president decides how many refugees will be admitted in a given year, and no one can change this number. However, Congress decides how much money is appropriated for resettlement of refugees who are already here.

Thanks for the town hall link. One of my senators had one recently (it didn't go all that well for him, haha) and I only found out about it afterwards. I would have gone, if I'd been able to.
