Newsletter on local political developments--saw it on fail_fandom_anon of all places:

I subscribed by scrolling down to the Preferences and changed the Preferences from the ffa poster's info to mine. They do ask for a phone number but I suspect you could either skip it or enter (555) 555-5555.

They send you a preliminary email with the link for updating your preferences, in case you only want to get some of their updates, or you want updates for your state.

FYI, that URL and URLs like it are unique to the specific 'subscriber' it was sent to. It now shows contact info including full phone number, name and matching verizon.net email address. Anyone who goes there can see that info, or enter their own info for the next person to see.

Use the signup link teaotter listed! It is generic and not tied to an existing subscriber. It will add you fresh.
