The FBI received a dossier back in June about Trump's campaign collaborating with the Russians. The bureau did not investigate, choosing instead to focus on Hillary Clinton's emails:

I find it shocking that there are no consequences for any of this. Once Trump is sworn in, any and all investigations will be left to languish for months or even years. And they're still going to let him be sworn in as president? It boggles the mind.

I have very little faith that these investigations are going to continue under the new administration. And even if they do, I don't think a Republican congress will have the nerve to act on the verdict.

This. This is what upsets me most. Once he's sworn in, there are going to be no consequences for him and his cronies, if the investigations actually get finished at all. It's not like the Republicans are going to impeach him and, even if they did, Pence got in there via the same method, so...

They colluded with a hostile foreign dictatorship to hijack an election. And everybody is letting them get away with it. It's crazy.

I know. And, honestly, I think it's the end of American democracy as we know it. From now on, foreign governments know they can find a way to fuck with things and make it go the way they want.

That scares me, yeah. But what scares me most -- as a poor, queer, non-cis, disabled woman -- is that the people in charge seem to have no sense of compassion and empathy for minorities. I'm just waiting for them to take away my Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. Because I know these assholes will.

They really are, which is so terrifying. I honestly can't understand how people can be so horrifyingly selfish. :( It breaks my brain so badly.

(And, even better, a good chunk of them fucking call themselves Christians. -throws hands up-)
