Things to do other than vote

Step 1: Make sure you're registered to vote.

Step 2: Solidarity.

- If you need someone who is sharing good news, try Hopium Chronicles.

Step 3: Donate if you can. Early is better than late.

- Help fund the Biden-Harris campaign.

- Support 12 House of Representative seats in swing districts.

- Help the Senate stay blue.

Step 4: Take action.

Things to do if you are not willing to support the Democratic party:

- VoteRiders is a non-profit dedicated to helping people register to vote, which isn't easy in the 50 countries in a trenchcoat that is the USA. There are volunteer opportunities that do not require you to talk to people if that's not something you are comfortable doing.

- Receiving hand-written postcards improves people's chances of voting. This org covers all 50 states, or write to Dems in swing states.

- Vote Forward focuses on Get Out The Vote for people who are unlikely to vote, which is a population that skews left.

If you are down with the fact that the US is a two-party system and willing to help out people who identify as Democrats:

- If you like talking to people, phone bank.

- If you need a job, you can apply to work for the Democratic National Committee.

- Network with Democrats in your state/county/town.

- Volunteer with the Dems on the national level.

- Volunteer with the Biden-Harris campaign.

If none of the things I've listed sound like you, try Mobilize.Us, which has events sorted by physical location.

Step 5: Keep looking for useful things to do and signal-boost them.

I would also recommend Postcards to Voters, which writes postcards to voters to support Democratic candidates in down ballot races where a small effort can really help them win.
