The bill to raise the debt ceiling has passed, so no government shutdown (and, from what I can tell, not too many horrible concessions to the Republicans). On top of that, a (Trump-appointed!) judge has struck down the anti-drag law in Tennessee. It's nice to have a bit of good news to celebrate.

I absolutely understand! Not a point of view I'm comfortable with either, so I wouldn't want to give them any credit apart from (anonymously) acknowledging that they managed to still do some good despite being Like That. (I hope the clinic visit didn't involve too much proselytizing by them.)

And thank you for answering. (I did wonder when I asked if you hadn't mentioned the organisation because of something like that.)
