Action: Adopt A State

An initiative from Vote Save America (run by Crooked Media, the people behind the Pod Save America podcast):
You don't live in a battleground state. So how do you help out in the states that will determine who wins in 2020? We finally have an answer: No matter where you live, you can directly support the work of organizers, volunteers, and candidates in the six key battleground states that will be most important to delivering a progressive majority in 2020. Just pick a state below, sign up, and we'll get you everything you need to make a big difference this November.
The states are: Arizona, Florida, Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Wisconsin.

I would love to be involved with this.

...Is it something other than "every three days I get an email begging me for donations?"

(I'll sign up. At worst, I eventually wind up adding more political email addresses to my block list. But I've gotten awfully cynical about "join our national campaign" plans.)

Hello, I am in Pennsylvania! Please adopt us or another state, yes. Knowing the Pod Save America people I expect this will include various other volunteer options-- text banking has been huge the last couple of elections and I've done it!
You can also try https://votefwd.org/ which is for writing letters to encourage people to vote-- you don't tell them who or what to vote for, you just tell them why you vote every election (note: the org has bought names of people who are likely to vote Democrat based on demographics, etc)

They all have unsubscribe lists. Some of them are more diligent about honoring unsub requests than others. I stopped dealing with anything at ActBlue because any reaction or donation was accompanied by a swarm of begging emails that never seemed to stop.

On one morning of a special election in some state, I got no fewer than 9 emails before noon asking me for money.

I don't know if I'm allowed to do anything actively because I'm a poll worker, but I've signed up to get emails!
