I'm afraid I don't know if it's anything beyond requests to donate (I'm not in the US, so I haven't signed up and I haven't seen reports from anyone who has signed up) but there are quite a lot of remote/volunteering options that campaigns need that could be possible. (e.g like Postcards to Voters, asking for particular skills like graphic design or data entry.) So I'm hoping it includes things like that, too.
