I accidentally put this on my LJ feed. Ack.

Do we think that contacting the swing vote senators, even if we are not in their state, might be a good plan right now? After all, the SC is a national issue, and one does not have to live in their state to promise to fund their opponent next time around if they vote for this asshole.

I attended! This was my first protest. Spouse kept kiddo home due to kiddo illness.

My feet hurt, although that is more likely from karate afterwards. Next time I will write the phone numbers I need in case of arrest on my hand instead of in large sharpie on my arm, lol. I think my sign was one of the most visible because I took the time to make the letters bold, and outlined the non-black letters in black. We mostly stood along the main drag in town waving signs at cars and occasionally chanting. It was good fun.
