The Trump Administration Is Planning an Unprecedented Attack on Voting Rights

You guys, this is bad. The Trump administration is taking SEVERAL steps to suppress the vote, but the one we can immediately do something about is to call our state officials (the secretary of state, in most cases) and ask them NOT to comply with the Trump administration's call for the state voter rolls. A number of states have already said they won't comply.

*snickers* Mine are already on it, and I'm rolling, because they ARE willing to send him the basic list of voters (but not some other info he wants - SSN and DL are both protected by law).

For $500, just like anyone else could get it.

The governor of Virginia turned them down. Strongly.

Nevada said they would give only publicly-available information, which is still more than I want them to have, but at least it isn't SSN and how people voted.

(I need to figure out how to withhold my address and phone number from the public. It's probably too late here, but it would be nice if it wasn't out there in the next election, at least.)
