The FBI received a dossier back in June about Trump's campaign collaborating with the Russians. The bureau did not investigate, choosing instead to focus on Hillary Clinton's emails:

The Senate Select Committee on Intelligence will "conduct a bipartisan inquiry of the intelligence reporting behind the Intelligence Community assessments from January 6, 2017":

I have very little faith that these investigations are going to continue under the new administration. And even if they do, I don't think a Republican congress will have the nerve to act on the verdict.
