The shutdown is over -- for now. Please keep contacting your representatives to encourage them to oppose the blackmail from the White House and to protect federal employees and ensure they don't suffer another shutdown. Please also encourage them to make sure all affected federal workers -- especially hourly/low-paid contract workers -- receive back pay for the period of the shutdown.

Meanwhile, the Orange Menace may not actually be doing much work, but he's still causing trouble, like backing out of nuclear weapons treaties. If you want a little fun/horrified boggling, executrix posted a link to Trump's SOTU Prep Survey.

The comm's been pretty quiet, so we don't have any specific ongoing actions, but you can find plenty in our check in posts or use the tagset to find actions on specific issues.
