Cindy Hyde-Smith on voter suppression: "And then they remind me, that there's a lot of liberal folks in those other schools who that maybe we don't want to vote. Maybe we want to make it just a little more difficult. And I think that's a great idea." (with video)
Her campaign has claimed that "obviously" she was just joking.

Hyde-Smith is facing Democrat Mike Espy in the run-off Senate election on Nov 27. Volunteering options to support Espy include texting to get the word out, which might be a good option for people who are not phone-capable.
