I was at the NY march! I was a little disappointed because it was small enough to actually march instead of just standing in one place wibbling. The demo was called for 5 pm, and I had a Feldenkrais class from 4-5 in the West Village. Since that was rush hour, I figured I'd just walk uptown from 14th Street on 8th Avenue until I hit the demo in Times Square.
I arrived at about 5:45, and merged into the line of march, which went from 7th Avenue to 6th Avenue and then to Broadway, marching downtown, to Union Square....which is on 14th Street.
My suggested chant of Whose streets? OUR streets, Whose House, OUR House did not take off.
