Election results!

Use this post to talk about the results.

Are there any (unexpectedly) good results in your district or state? Or in districts where you've been volunteering though organisations like Swing Left or Sister District? Are there any results you're excited about for candidates outside your district that you've been following/donating to (perhaps from the various slates we've posted)?

Share the squee or commiserate about near misses!

(Posted early because I'm out for the evening and want to make sure this is ready for when you need it!)

Democrat pulls ahead in Arizona Senate race

According to the Arizona Secretary of State website, Sinema now leads McSally by a little over 2000 votes.

Sinema: 914,243 — 48.91%
McSally: 912,137 — 48.80%https://t.co/FNfqys0v0z

It’s still too soon to know who will ultimately prevail. Earlier in the day, McSally had 856,848 votes (49.37%), while Sinema had 839,775 votes (48.39%), according to the Arizona Republic.

So that would be Tester, Manchin (ugh), Rosen in NV, and HOPEFULLY Sinema. And maybe a recount in Florida for Nelson. And this when "According to FiveThirtyEight, Democrats faced the most unfavorable Senate map in 2018 that any party has ever faced in any election."
